Treble trilled loudly, almost as though defiant in the face of Yeordan's wrath. Taliene immediately shushed the little lizard, however with her hands hampered by the pots, she was unable to adequately do so. She just sighed in frustration at the lizard before looking over at both of the Mastercrafters and nodded, "My name is Taliene, sir. And the business I have here today is the delivery of two firelizard eggs. One to you, Master Yeorden, and one to you, Master Ageomi." The harper did her best to speak smoothly, and fortunately, Treble opted to lean down against his mistress's shoulder and just resume staring imperiously. That, she could at least work with, "The eggs come from the Weyr, and Master Sayer felt them best put into your hands." With that, the Harper strode forward, settling the pots on the table gently, letting the Masters look at them and take their pick.

The Healer nodded, confident that Yeorden would do as he said he would. The injury had been brought to light, and now it would heal without the fool girl risking the problem of causing further injury upon herself. He let the girl's arm go, sniffing just faintly before turning to look back at the table just as the harper set the pots upon the table, "Hmm. Lizard eggs, eh?" The healer wasn't sure how he felt about that. He never actually wanted a firelizard before, but that didn't mean they wouldn't have their uses, particularly if he didn't have to pay for them himself. The man nodded, leaning slightly over to look over the pot closest to him, inspecting it, "Hmm.."

Deavelyn dropped her arm as the healer confirmed it was...well, not well, but not worse than before. She schooled her features, and eyed her master. Light work. Damnit. He probably wouldn't even let her make beads! She was useless!
"My name is Taliene, sir. And the business I have here today is the delivery of two firelizard eggs. One to you, Master Yeorden, and one to you, Master Ageomi."
Well. That caught her attention. She glanced at the pots, for a moment her expression shifting from irritated contrition to curiosity and longing. She caught herself, tucked the offending limb behind her again, and glanced at the pots. It was likely the healer would get both of them, as her master loathed the little creatures.

Yeorden stared at Taliene dubiously, then eyed the eggs with patent annoyance, snorting irritably. "Sharding Mastercoggler knows what I think of the wasteful things. Don't know why in Faranth's name he'd be fool enough to pawn one of them off on me. Better off if he'd kept it for his own self. Feed it to the-" An idea struck him, then, and he glanced between Ageomi, Deavelyn, and the egg with an expression that was first dubious, and then brilliant, slowly dawning comprehension of an idea. A lazy grin stretched over his face. "No... on second thought ..." Turning abruptly, he pointed at Deavelyn. "Take whichever one she's pawning off on me. Take care of it. Keep the sharding thing out of my work room, and I don't want to see you back until it's hatched and trained enough to stay behind on its own." To Ageomi, he added, "Does that suit healing time and light work, Masterhealer?" Oh, but this was a brilliant idea. He was so glad he'd thought of it!

The healer took a moment to ponder when Yeorden spoke to him. Looking over at the glassmaster, he slowly grinned, evidently amused with the way things were turning out. He really couldn't care less if the girl got a firelizard in the process, so long as the wound healed, and care of the lizard would force her to take enough time to heal before stepping into the workroom again. Ageomi nodded, glancing over at the Harper with a nod before picking up the pot closest to him and examining it, "I think that's just fine by me. In fact, it's a fine idea, Yeorden. A fine idea indeed. Any particular pot you'd like? Otherwise, I'm just grabbing the closest one to me and calling it good." Ageomi was, for once, in a relatively good mood. It was evident that Yeorden's smugness transfered to him. This was a solution they both could agree with!

"Bu...but M-ma-master!"
Clearly the girl was torn between rejoicing for the lizard, and bawling for being banished from the work room! It took sevendays for lizards to grow up!
She shut up a moment, oblivious to the adults around her.
She sat down.
"I'm going to have my own firelizard?"

"As long as you keep the sharding thing out of my workroom," Yeorden complained. "I don't want it messing up my business, you hear me? I have too much to do to go worrying after some sharding lizard. You take care of that beastie, or I'll get Searhiordan to make it a cage." Of course, a cage would do no good in containing it, but it was an idle threat, anyhow. He didn't truly mean it, because he knew full well that she would get the creature trained. Deavelyn was a dutiful student, for all that she gave him miserable headaches, and he knew fully well that she took her responsibilities seriously. ...Even if she had broken that mirror.

With that, Taliene heaved and inward sigh of relief. This was the last of her errands she had to run before she could head back to the Weyr and hopefully rest for the evening. L'chlan was probably going nuts, waiting for her at that. A moment's thought of sympathy towards the dragonrider flashed across the Harper's mind, but she quickly set it aside as Treble began to croon, bobbing his head and rubbing it along her cheek. Reaching up to absently pat the lizard, she smiled, "Then I bid you all to be well. I shall take my leave, if none of you have anymore need of me. Should you have questions on firelizards, however, please feel free to ask." The harper was prompt, if nothing else. With a glance at either Master, she bowed politely and turned, heading off to go to where the dragonrider was, intent on ready for heading out. True to her word, as soon as her mission finished, she was gone, and it wasn't long before all that was seen of her was a brown braid whipping about the corner of the entryway.

Ageomi watched the harper go cooly, and shrugged. He frowned slightly before he said, "Interesting lot, those harpers. Not a one of them know how to sit still for too long." The master healer merely shook his head, shrugging as he glanced inside of his pot. Inspecting it, he shrugged. He supposed it really didn't look any different from any other firelizard egg, aside from the size, and how was he supposed to know what was in them anyways? Ah well, he'd take care of it, and he supposed he'd be grateful for the gift as it came without any cost. That was when he looked at the apprentice and nodded, "I'm told Lizards don't take that long to be old enough to be trained. Regardless, that pot there is yours. I don't really see the difference in who gets what, the eggs are roughly the same size and how do we know what they'll be anyways?"

"I don't care what size it is! I'm so...Master..." She glanced at him, pinching her face up. "Thank you. Besides. I only had that mirror to do...and the beads, but the beads can wait." She pulled the pot to her, and stood. "Can I be excused to tend to it?"

"Go, go," Yeorden urged, waving at her with one hand in an effort to banish her back to her rooms. He certainly didn't want to see the creature, and it obviously made her happy, so well enough was well enough. Even Sayer couldn't complain too much about this.

Ageomi smirked, listening to the excitement from the girl. The Healer nodded, glancing over at Yeorden with that wry smile of his. This day had turned out most unexpectedly, and it was with that in mind that he settled the jar in the crook of his arm with a faint shrug, "I believe I will take this egg up to my quarters." He began to move before stopping, turning to eye the girl once more and said, "Do listen to the advice on the arm. " He then turned to look at Yeorden once more, "Thank you, Yeorden." Ageomi was grateful for one thing. Gruff and cranky as the man was, Yeorden had simplified matters quite a bit. WIth that, the Healer nodded again and began to walk out of the room, shifting lightly on his feet, mind clearly upon the egg in his arm.
