In this post, this is the listing of traits discovered in the females of the Firelizard species. Gold: Largest of the firelizards, a gold grows to approximately the length of a man's arm, from shoulder to fingertip. They tend to be the most intelligent of the species, and are the rarest colour to be clutched. A gold firelizard produces the largest, most diverse clutches. Green: Smallest of the various colours of firelizard, the green is about half the length of a gold, and flies considerably more often. Her clutches are smaller and often fall prey to tunnel snakes. They feature considerably more small eggs than those of a gold's clutch. Greens make up about half the population of firelizards.

Listed here are the male firelizards. Ranked below the golds as the first list indicates, they make up the middle range of sizes.. Bronze: The largest of the males, he's often a variation of some bronze hue. Slightly smaller then a queen, he is strong and fast. and as his larger dragon counterpart, he is smarter than the firelizards that are smaller than he is. More common than a gold, he is less common then the other colors, and it is he who usually pairs with the gold in her flights. Purple: This firelizard is a recently discovered mutation, and rather rare, making up no more than about 5% of the population. A variation on different hues, he has a flatter tail and webbed feet, making him ideal for fishing. While smaller then a bronze, he is larger than the brown firelizard. Purples tend to have a paler underbelly and a darker back, like many fish, further reinforcing the idea that he is a proficient fisher. Brown: Being of a middling size, browns are sturdy, hale, and roughly halfway between the sizes of a gold and a green. Though not common, they are not especially rare, either, and tend to be easier to train and obedient. Blue: The blue firelizard is the smallest male firelizard. Though loyal, blues, little bigger than greens, do not tend to be very intelligent, compared to their larger kin, and often have trouble with more complex instructions. Blues are notably more common than browns, though still rarer than greens.
