We've had several problems recently with characters going up for review.
Lilacdew has posted a reminder to review the timeline and site history before posting a character. Minor errors will be forgiven under a customary edit request. In the future, profiles which read in a manner that indicates you did not read over the timeline and history will either be met with a warning against your account, or, for repeat offenders, a temporary suspension. Minor mistakes are understood. If you aren't sure about something, ask. If your profile says your character was born and raised in Telgar Weyr, which has stood empty for 650+ turns, you will be warned. Read the history. Read the timeline. Ask, if you're not sure.
When we post a list of edit requests, we are not asking you to make two or three of them. We are telling you to make all of them. If you make two or three and call it done, ignoring the other ten, the original reply will be bumped until all edits are either made or successfully disputed. If it happens again, the original reply will be bumped again, and you will be warned. Missing one or two edits out of ten is a reasonable mistake. Missing six or seven is not. We are not broken records. Do not make us feel like we are.
I'm not trying to be difficult to get along with, and many of you have not had any problems with this whatsoever. Quite a few applications have undergone my review and received two, even three replies without me repeating more than one or two points more than once. Some, however, have had the same points brought up over and over again, and it's a waste of everyone's time to just keep issuing the same review again and again. Don't make us do it.
